Corrugated dowels & studs

الأوتاد والمسامير المموّجة

Mortar anchors with a corrugated stud, set in cement mortar in the backing wall — used for the last row of panels, in horizontal or vertical joints, for wind loads up to 1 kN.

Corrugated dowels & studs

The corrugated dowel (ST-900-1100) is a mortar anchor for wet fixing: its corrugated stud is set in cement mortar in a hole drilled in the concrete or masonry wall, and its pin engages the pin hole in the panel edge. It is used for the last row of panels and on projections, in horizontal or vertical joints, for wind loads up to 1 kN. Where a bonded fixing is needed, a net anchor sleeve holds the injected resin around a threaded stud.

KAVITY supplies the complete STANGLE system — L-, Z-, omega and fishtail brackets, corrugated dowels and studs, anchors and secondary steel — in stainless or galvanised steel matched to the exposure. Our technical department sizes it from your elevation, panel weight, cavity depth and wind load, and issues the structural calculation and shop drawings needed for consultant approval.
